Basketball Game Preview: East Palo Alto Academy Bulldogs vs. Pescadero Vikings

The East Palo Alto Academy Bulldogs will face off against the Pescadero Vikings at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Pescadero took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on East Palo Alto Academy, who comes in off a win.

In Tuesday's Canine Competition, East Palo Alto Academy came out on top. They blew past Summit Preparatory 51-29 on Tuesday. With the Bulldogs ahead 27-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.

East Palo Alto Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dreshon Barker-Goode out in front who posted 23 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Barker-Goode has scored at least a third of East Palo Alto Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Abraham Pacheco, who earned 14 points.

Meanwhile, Pescadero scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. The contest between them and Mid-Peninsula didn't end well, with Pescadero falling 74-60. The Vikings have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Pescadero's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for East Palo Alto Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.
