Softball Recap: Kennedy Catholic Comes Up Short

Kennedy Catholic fell victim to Tahoma and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 11-0 to the Bears. The loss continues a trend for the Lancers in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost five in a row.

Kennedy Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Tahoma, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy Catholic will challenge Kentwood at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers are facing the Conquerors at the right time seeing as the Conquerors are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Tahoma, they will host Mt. Rainier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.08 runs per game on average), something the Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of.
