Football Recap: Great Falls Takes a Loss

Great Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 20-16 heartbreaker at the hands of the C.A. Johnson Hornets. The Red Devils lost against the Hornets in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 48-6 score last time.

Great Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for C.A. Johnson, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Great Falls is set to take on their familiar foe Lewisville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, C.A. Johnson will challenge rival Lamar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
