Baseball Recap: Carlmont's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Carlmont won the last time they faced Aragon and things went their way on Saturday too. Carlmont came out on top against Aragon by a score of 4-1.

Luke Tofigh and Grant Goetz did most of the damage at the plate: Tofigh scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2, while Goetz scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave Tofigh a new career-high. Aidan O'Driscoll was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Carlmont's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3. As for Aragon, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Carlmont didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-3 loss against Los Altos on the 19th. As for Aragon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-1 win against Lowell on the 22nd.
