Volleyball Recap: Bishop Ludden Has No Trouble Against Corcoran

Bishop Ludden won the last time they faced Corcoran and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Gaelic Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cougars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Gaelic Knights.

While Bishop Ludden won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-23.

Riley Abernethy paced Bishop Ludden's offense, picking up 14 kills. Abernethy got some help from Ava Christodoulou and her 16 assists. Christodoulou was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Bishop Ludden's win bumped their record up to 12-5.

Looking ahead, Bishop Ludden will face off against Cortland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Corcoran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
