Baseball Recap: Whitmore Lake Takes a Loss

Whitmore Lake lost against Plymouth Christian Academy back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans fell 7-3 to the Eagles. The matchup marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Curtis Bower was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple.

Whitmore Lake has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

While Whitmore Lake had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
