            Baseball Recap: Westfall Mustangs vs. Sheridan Generals        
        
		
        
        
            Westfall had lost three straight at home, but  on Monday they dropped their record down to 12-9 to make it four. They lost  9-1 to the Sheridan Generals. Having soared to a lofty 14  runs in the game before, the Mustangs couldn't push the score so high this time.
  Rick Hanley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI.
As for Sheridan, the  victory was  the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-4. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games.
On Sheridan's side,  TJ Connors looked comfortable as he  struck out six batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits (and only one walk).
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  James Solomon, who  went 2-for-3 with four  RBI, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Cole Cashdollar, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run.
 Westfall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sheridan, they will host Marietta  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
