At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ashannalee Titialii, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ruby Grajeda, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.
Carson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Carson's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Rancho Dominguez, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
