Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Holy Trinity). They came out on top against the West Hempstead Rams by a score of 58-46 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Titans as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
Holy Trinity got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kiera Kozlowski out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 17 rebounds. Kozlowski continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jasmine Waszak, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 boards.
Holy Trinity smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 32 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive contests.
