Football Recap: Dunkirk Comes Up Short

Dunkirk lost against Maryvale back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Marauders came up short against the Flyers, falling 48-26. The Marauders' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Dunkirk's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Maryvale, they moved to 3-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunkirk will host Fredonia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Marauders will be up against the Hillbillies' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.57 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Maryvale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Albion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
