Compton takes loss despite strong efforts from Oshon Mitchell and Jashon Finley

Recap: Compton Tarbabes vs. Charter Oak Chargers

On Tuesday, Compton came up short against Charter Oak and fell 59-52.

Despite the loss, Compton had strong showings from Jashon Finley, who scored 20 points along with six steals, and Oshon Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. The match was Mitchell's eighth in a row with at least ten points.

Compton's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Charter Oak, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Compton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Woodrow Wilson at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th. Woodrow Wilson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Compton in California (Woodrow Wilson is ranked 360th, while Compton is ranked 1073rd). As for Charter Oak, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Santa Fe at 6:30 p.m. on December 14th. Santa Fe has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 14.
