 After two games on the road, Tesoro is heading back home. They will take on the Westlake Warriors at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
 Last Wednesday, Tesoro had just enough and edged Mission Viejo out  6-4.
  Loula McNamara spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and three unearned) runs on six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in 13 consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Kiara Cisneros was  excellent,  scoring three  runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Kennedy Proctor, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
 Meanwhile,  it was close, but  on Friday Westlake sidestepped Camarillo for  a  4-3 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Westlake.
  Presley Waters looked comfortable as she  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Amanda Baldwin, who  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  triple.  Samy Gallegos was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Tesoro's win was  their seventh straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 16-4. As for Westlake, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 14 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record  this season.
