Basketball Game Preview: Bendle Tigers vs. Owosso Trojans

The Bendle Tigers will take on the Owosso Trojans in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Bendle is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 54-21 win over Beecher. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Tigers have posted since January 30th.

Bendle got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alyssah Belcher out in front who posted 19 points and five steals. Emily Howard was another key player, putting up six points and 15 rebounds.

Bendle smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in four consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, after only nine points in their last contest, Owosso made sure to put some points up on the board against Brandon on Friday. Owosso took their game with ease, bagging a 69-30 victory over Brandon.

Owosso now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bendle, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
