For the second straight game, Desert Ridge will face off against Higley. The Jaguars are taking a road trip to challenge the Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Desert Ridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Desert Ridge got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They came out on top against Higley by a score of 7-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

For Higley's part, they got a good showing from Fernando Alonzo, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, Alonzo gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had over his last three contests.

On the hitting side, Cam Jantz was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Higley is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8. As for Desert Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.
