Basketball Recap: Rusk Comes Up Short

Rusk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Edgewood Bulldogs and fell 80-38. The Eagles were down 65-34 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Rusk's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Edgewood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Rusk didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 92-31 loss against Grace Community on the 6th. Edgewood has also already played their next contest (against Malakoff), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
