After a string of four wins, L.E.A.D. Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 19-1 to the Booker T. Washington Wildcats.

L.E.A.D. Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Silas Brown, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Brown is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.

L.E.A.D. Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Booker T. Washington, their victory ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-15.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as L.E.A.D. Academy Lions duke it out with Altha Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Altha has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Booker T. Washington, they will welcome Pensacola at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
