Silverado is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Victor Valley a 16-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Silverado Hawks will be playing at home against the Victor Valley Jackrabbits at 3:15 p.m. Silverado is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.9 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Silverado turned things around against Barstow on Friday. They walked away with a 15-10 victory over the Aztecs. Surprisingly, this marked the Hawks' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Victoria Patino was incredible, going 3-for-5 with five RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Crespo, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Silverado kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in nine consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Victor Valley came up short against Adelanto on Friday and fell 9-5.

Silverado's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Victor Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-18.

Silverado took their victory against Victor Valley when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 27-6 score. Do the Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jackrabbits turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
