A big congratulations to Christian Speight, who made at least ten total tackles for the first time in his career. He made ten total tackles as Evangel Christian Academy took down Byrd 43-36. Our internal rating system judged Friday's effort as the best he's ever given (but hopefully not for long).

Looking ahead, Speight and Evangel Christian Academy will challenge Airline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Speight had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in September of 2024 47-42.
