Soccer Recap: Marlboro County Comes Up Short

Marlboro County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against Georgetown, falling 5-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Georgetown this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in March.

Marlboro County's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Georgetown, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Marlboro County will square off against rival Loris at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Georgetown is set to challenge their familiar foe Waccamaw at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
