Andrews had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Monahans on Friday. Andrews never let Monahans get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Mustangs not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since February 25th.

Kade Adams made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Adams was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bryaden Williams, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and one run. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Daylon Jefcoats, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3.

Andrews always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Andrews is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Monahans and nudges their season record down to 3-11-1.
