Volleyball Recap: Bonduel Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bonduel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks, falling 3-0. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Bonduel was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Weyauwega-Fremont's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-17.

Juliana Jacobs paced Bonduel's offense, picking up 18 kills. Jacobs got some help from Peyton Westrich and her 29 assists. Audrey Jacobs controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Weyauwega-Fremont's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mariah Baehnman, who had 12 assists and six digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Baril, who had nine digs and two assists.

Bonduel's loss dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Weyauwega-Fremont, they pushed their record up to 8-15 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Bonduel didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Denmark on the 16th. As for Weyauwega-Fremont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against St. Mary Catholic on the 16th.
