Basketball Game Preview: Jennings Bulldogs vs. Kinder Yellowjackets

The Jennings Bulldogs will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Kinder Yellowjackets at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Jennings will be strutting in after a victory while Kinder will be coming in after a loss.

Jennings will head into Saturday's contest on the come-up: they were handed a 34-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Acadiana, sneaking past 41-38.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Kinder's good fortune finally ran out last Thursday. They took a blow against Oberlin, falling 82-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Yellowjackets have suffered since January 26th.

Kinder's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-5. As for Jennings, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.

Everything came up roses for Jennings against Kinder in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 90-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jennings since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
