Baseball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 5-2 to the Airport Jets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 back in April.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Airport, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-13 record this season.

Jefferson is taking a road trip to square off against Milan at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Airport, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Flat Rock at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Jets surely won't give up without a fight.
