Baseball Recap: Hilliard Triumphs

Hilliard lost to Paxon School For Advanced Studies back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Hilliard Red Flashes came out on top against the Paxon School For Advanced Studies Golden Eagles by a score of 6-1.

The team relied heavily on Conner Bayless, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three). Ethan Garland was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases.

The victory got Hilliard back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Hilliard is taking a road trip to face off against Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, they will head out to take on Parker at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
