Volleyball Game Preview: South County Stallions vs. Woodson Cavaliers + How To Watch

South County is 0-10 against Woodson since October of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Stallions will host the Cavaliers at 6:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

While South County's victory against Hayfield wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Stallions narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Hawks 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Stallions in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Woodson posted their closest win since September 24, 2024 on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Robinson 3-2.

Woodson had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 26-28, 25-18, 25-19, 17-15.

South County's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Woodson, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
