Baseball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against East Ridge

Trinity Christian Academy's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the East Ridge Knights. With that win, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Reilley Oglageo was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. Cameron Bates also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Trinity Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Trinity Christian Academy moved to 4-10 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for East Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Trinity Christian Academy and East Ridge could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Trinity Christian Academy will take on Lake Howell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday down 277 places (499 vs. 222). Meanwhile, East Ridge (ranked 446th) will meet Apopka (ranked 181st) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
