Basketball Recap: South Has No Trouble Against Hamilton Township

South's tournament run continued when they took on Hamilton Township on Tuesday. The South Bulldogs strolled past the Hamilton Township Rangers with points to spare, taking the game 75-58.

Despite the loss, Hamilton Township still got an impressive performance from Lucas King, who went 7-for-10 from beyond the arc on his way to 25 points in addition to seven rebounds and three blocks. What's more, King also posted a 70% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kadan Ahr, who posted six points.

South is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points over those games. As for Hamilton Township, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-6.

Coming up, South will square off against Bishop Watterson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Watterson will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something South surely won't give up without a fight. Hamilton Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
