Softball Recap: Montgomery Central Indians vs. West Creek Coyote
After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Montgomery Central brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They blew past the West Creek Coyote 17-1 on Thursday. The Indians have beaten the Coyote the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Coyote has come to flipping the script.
Addison Jackson made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances. Those runs marked the first that she scored this season.

In other batting news, Sydney Borowik was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, four RBI, and two runs. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Ashlee Phillips was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
