The La Farge Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Kickapoo Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Kickapoo took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on La Farge, who comes in off a win.
La Farge is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on North Crawford with a sharp 16-1 win on Thursday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Adalyn Hansen made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Hansen was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

In other batting news, Chelsey Huebsch was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Riley Grefe, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
La Farge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .630. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Kickapoo's offense. They came up short against De Soto on Friday, falling 23-0. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.
Kickapoo saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brylee Hagen, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.
Kickapoo's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for La Farge, their record is now 5-11.
La Farge was able to grind out a solid win over Kickapoo in their previous matchup back in April, winning 5-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
