Palmetto had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They enjoyed a cozy 27-10 victory over the Columbus Explorers on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Butler Aiden produced another solid performance rushing for 178 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards.

Another reason for the win was Palmetto's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. Another thorn in Columbus' side was Jaiden Henry, who picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made five total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Palmetto's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Columbus, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Palmetto will face off against Goleman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Columbus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
