Football Recap: Lindblom Takes a Loss

The matchup between Lindblom and Corliss on Friday hardly resembled the 20-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Eagles were outmatched by the Trojans and fell 62-19. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Although Lindblom took the loss, they still got scores from Gavin Tillman and Juel Pryor.

Lindblom's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Corliss, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lindblom is set to square off against their familiar foe Carver at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Corliss will challenge rival Goode STEM Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Trojans 14.7, the Knights 15) so any points scored will be well earned.
