Basketball Recap: Houston Academy Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Houston Academy entered their tilt with Dale County on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 72-59 victory over the Dale County Warriors. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Warriors are ranked 321st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Houston Academy pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.2 points per game. As for Dale County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
