Kennedy's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 8-10. As for American, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Kennedy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Mission San Jose at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. One thing working in Mission San Jose's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matchups. As for American, they will head out on the road to take on Irvington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Irvington has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 14.
