Volleyball Recap: Arkport Central Comes Up Short

Arkport Central entered their game against Bolivar-Richburg on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bluejays came up short against the Wolverines, falling 3-0. If the Bluejays were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Wolverines when the teams met back in October of 2015, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Arkport Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Bolivar-Richburg, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Arkport Central will take on Campbell-Savona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bolivar-Richburg, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hinsdale Central at 7:30 p.m.
