Volleyball Recap: Royal Comes Up Short

After flying high against El Camino Real last Tuesday, Royal came back down to earth. The Royal Highlanders fell 3-1 to the Chatsworth Chancellors on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Highlanders of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Royal couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Chatsworth a tough time in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 30-28, 25-17, 15-25, 25-22.

Royal's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Royal will venture away from home to square off against Thousand Oaks at 6:30 p.m. on February 28th. Chatsworth has already played their next match (against Redondo Union), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
