When it comes to explaining why Yucca Valley lost on Saturday, one person who can't be blamed is Myles Harper. Despite the final result, he rushed for 201 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. Harper was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 55 yards.
Cerritos was led to victory by Dikshanta Adhikari and Justin Sagun. Adhikari picked up 67 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Sagun threw for 125 yards and three touchdowns.
Yucca Valley's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Cerritos, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Yucca Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cerritos will look to defend their home field on Friday against Wasco at 7:30 p.m. Wasco is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
