Newburgh Free Academy is 9-1 against Pine Bush since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Goldbacks are taking a road trip to challenge the Bushmen at 4:15 p.m. Newburgh Free Academy has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with four straight losses, while Pine Bush will come in with three straight wins.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Newburgh Free Academy and Kingston had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Goldbacks lost 7-1 to the Tigers on Friday. The contest marked the Goldbacks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, while Pine Bush put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Kingston. The Bushmen put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bushmen, who have now won three matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Newburgh Free Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Pine Bush, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Newburgh Free Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Pine Bush in their previous meeting on April 9th, winning 8-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Goldbacks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
