After losing to Centennial the last time they met, North Crowley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Spartans on Saturday.

North Crowley easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-17.

Brooklyn Peoples paced North Crowley's offense, picking up ten kills. Peoples got some help from Abrielle Johnson and her 14 assists. Zania Haymond controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

North Crowley's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Centennial, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

North Crowley has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Lake Belton on the 16th. As for Centennial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Longview on the 16th.
