Waterloo proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by nine) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Lake Country Lutheran Lightning 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The victory got Waterloo back to even at 10-10. As for Lake Country Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-7.

Waterloo has already played their next game, an 11-2 loss against Dodgeville on the 26th. As for Lake Country Lutheran, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-2 defeat against Brookfield East on the 28th.
