ConVal faced Souhegan in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Sabers. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on three straight.

ConVal's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Souhegan, they dropped their record down to 9-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, ConVal will head out to square off against Pelham at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Souhegan has already played their next match (against Campbell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
