After a string of four wins, Cibola's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were dealt a 64-35 loss at the hands of the Volcano Vista Hawks. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Cibola's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5. As for Volcano Vista, their win was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2.
