Nipmuc Regional had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Bellingham Blackhawks by a score of 3-1 on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Nipmuc Regional was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-13, 18-25, 25-17, 25-16.

Haden Houachanthara paced Nipmuc Regional's offense, picking up ten kills. Houachanthara got some help from Dolan Comforti and his 35 assists. Evan Donlan controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Bellingham's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Nipmuc Regional didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Norton on the 3rd. As for Bellingham, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Xaverian Brothers on the 2nd.
