Softball Recap: Dobyns-Bennett Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Dobyns-Bennett walked away with it. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Halls Red Devils a 3-0 shutout on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Dobyns-Bennett has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Halls, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 32-7-1.
