Soccer Recap: Howard Tech Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, Howard Tech was not quite CSTHEA's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 4-3. Howard Tech were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as CSTHEA apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Luis Mendez and Jaime Roman Pablo scored all three of Howard Tech's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Howard Tech and nudges their season record down to 8-6-1. As for CSTHEA, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Howard Tech will host Bradley Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bradley Central will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last. CSTHEA does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
