Basketball Game Preview: Peetz Bulldogs vs. Arickaree Bison

The Peetz Bulldogs will face off against the Arickaree Bison at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

On Saturday, Peetz was beaten by Merino 54-13. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Rams are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, Arickaree ended up a good deal behind Flagler on Saturday and lost 39-24. The match marked the Bison's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Arickaree's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Peetz, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Peetz was taken down by Arickaree 51-20 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Peetz was down 33-6.
