Baseball Recap: Norton Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Norton had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers with a sharp 13-3 victory. Considering the Panthers have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Norton pushed their record up to 19-2-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Cuyahoga Falls, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norton will host Firestone at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
