Baseball Game Preview: Box Elder Bees vs. Bonneville Lakers

For the second straight game, Box Elder will face off against Bonneville. The Bees will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lakers at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, Box Elder needed a bit of extra time to put away Bonneville. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Lakers 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bees have posted since April 16th.

Maddox Earnest was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Easton Green, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.

Box Elder's win ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-17. As for Bonneville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.
