Deming had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They put the hurt on the Silver Slvr Ftg Colts with a sharp 9-1 victory. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by six runs or more this season.

Daniel Porras spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 14 Ks.

At the plate, Deming got a big performance out of Daniel Mosier, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Olvera, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Deming always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Silver only posted an OBP of .296.

Deming's record now sits at 16-3. As for Silver, they dropped their record down to 8-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Deming will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Slvr Ftg Colts: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
