Baseball Recap: Pellston Falls to St. Mary Cathedral in First Game of Season

Pellston had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 15-0 to the St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Snowbirds: they've now lost eight in a row.

Pellston saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Hickman, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Coincidentally, Pellston and St. Mary Cathedral will both be playing Mancelona the next time they take the field. The Snowbirds will host the Ironmen at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Hornets will host them at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
