Baseball Recap: Pascack Hills Takes a Loss

Pascack Hills was the 9-5 winner over Wayne Valley when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Broncos came up short against the Indians on Saturday, falling 11-1. The contest marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Pascack Hills saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Giannantonio, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Pascack Hills has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Wayne Valley, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pascack Hills will host Mahwah at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Thunderbirds will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Broncos surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wayne Valley, they will square off against Wayne Hills at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
